The Opportunity

Reporting to Head of P&C Business Partnering, the People and Capability Business Partner is responsible for developing and managing the people plan to support Sigma Healthcare’s Victorian based operations – principally the Sigma Company Limited business.

Working closely with the Head of P&C Business Partnering Chief People Officer and operational leaders, this role will provide strategic and operational P&CP&C advice, coaching and support to drive process improvement and business alignment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a people plan for the Sigma Company Limited business that supports the Sigma ways of working
  • Work with business leaders to deliver the organisational change required to support continued business improvement
  • Provide ‘hands on’ practical support in coaching and supporting line managers to improve the employment experience from recruitment onwards
  • Provide employee relations advice and managing team member performance management processes in conjunction with line managers

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in People/P&C experience interacting with all levels of employees including senior management is essential.
  • Experience in Award and EBA interpretation
  • Demonstrated influencing and coaching skills with line managers
  • Ability to remain composed given the timelines and a high volume of activities given the operational nature of the business
  • Pragmatic, assertive, organised and demonstrates sound judgement.
