We facilitate the transfer of electricity between Victoria and Tasmania via Basslink, the sub-sea electricity interconnector. We also provide telecommunications and technology services.

About the role

This newly created role will define, contribute and manage the various digital and security strategies that underpin our asset lifecycle processes and technology landscape and roadmaps.

This role will work with the complexity of the business to assist with designing and implementing security controls against potential cyber threats and other security risks.

The role will define policies, procedures, models and technologies to be used in collecting, organising, storing and accessing company data.

About you

We are looking for a team member who has had experience in leading teams and projects in a highly complex, diverse and fast paced business environment.

Having a solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorisation and anti-malware platforms is highly regarded

Are you a critical thinker that has the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to ensure efficiencies?

Building and maintaining relationships is key to this role as you will be working alongside with customers, including executives, senior leaders, vendors and subject matter experts.
