A great opportunity has become available for an experienced Enterprise Data Lead to join our team. As the Enterprise Data Lead in the UniFi ERP programme you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic management and utilisation of data within Thales Australia, leading all data-related delivery activities within the UniFi programme. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data governance, data architecture, data quality, and data management processes.

YOUR ROLE

Working from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be:

  • Lead a team of data professionals, including data architects, data engineers, and data analysts, to define and deliver on the strategic objectives of ERP programme.
  • Partner with business leaders, IT stakeholders, and external vendors to align data initiatives with business priorities and drive consensus on data-related decisions.
  • Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including data models, data flows, and integration strategies, to support current and future business needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of data management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective data lifecycle management.
  • Implement data quality standards and controls to monitor, measure, and improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of enterprise data.
  • Continue to evolve the Data Services value proposition and the operating model.
  • Establishing data risk framework for identifying and managing enterprise and functional level risks.
  • Reporting and Documentation and creating and maintaining documentation of data-related processes, policies, and procedures, and providing regular reports to programme stakeholders.
  • Change Management and assisting in change management efforts to ensure that employees adapt to new data-related processes and tools effectively.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

  • Extensive experience in senior data leadership roles.
  • Ability to build exceptionally high performing, highly collaborative, empowered teams.
  • Strategy and performance metric development.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to lead and influence through others.
  • Experience in large transformation programmes involving complex data migration and data cleansing needs
