About the opportunity

Working across the Network Planning and Operations teams, you will complete connection enquiry studies and reports for connections to our high voltage network. This will include working with stakeholders to produce reports to compliance deadlines and discuss results with customers. You will also complete network studies with our Power Factory Model.

  • Provide advice and recommendations on various technical enquiries and analysis
  • Author concise and clear reports including reference documentation and provide presentations to stakeholders
  • Lead the review of Power Systems Connection processes, policies and guidelines to achieve improved team performance
  • Develop and document technical analysis methodologies and model development
  • Lead options analysis and document network and non-network solutions for transmission system issues both technically and commercially

About you

  • Extensive experience in the analysis and development of electricity transmission systems
  • Substantial experience in the legislation and technical standards guiding system planning
  • Extensive knowledge of national and international planning standards and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical networks engineering and operations
  • Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and experience with working in accordance with a Quality Assurance System
  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
