About us

At Transgrid, we play crucial role in connecting electricity generators to the distribution network that power homes and businesses - we operate over 13,000km of high voltage transmission wires and 110 substations in NSW and the ACT.

This is an exciting time to join us. As Australia transitions to renewable energy, we are ensuring the transmission system can deliver clean and reliable energy to support the transformation. You will have an opportunity to make a real difference and leave a legacy.

Not only does our work improve the lives of millions, from lighting up sports fields, schools and homes, to powering the wheels of commerce and everything else in between, we are also leading the transition to a clean energy future – and you can be a part of it.

About the opportunity

You will be responsible for the overall quality, systems, assurance, and compliance management for a number of projects, ensuring correct set up and compliance of the projects from quality/assurance perspective and also that cross-functional quality aspects are implemented and managed across the projects.

It’s an exciting area of Transgrid to work in. Not only will you be part of an expanding team, you’ll also be involved in multiple renewable energy projects - giving you variety and opportunities to grow with the team.

You can be based in either Ultimo or Eastern Creek (travel will be required to both sites though).

About you

You’ll be keen to get stuck into a busy function and lead a small newly recruited team of Document Controllers, you’ll also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline (engineering, project management, business administration or similar)
  • Previous experience in project quality assurance, compliance, audit or governance areas ideally in power/energy, infrastructure engineering or construction projects.
  • Extensive experience operating within a formal structured project governance framework or management system, and thorough understanding of quality management systems.
  • Experience in creating formal assurance deliverables, reports, and presentations to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document control systems experience and ability to guide the project teams in appropriate document control set ups and maintenance.

Recognition & Reward

In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
