About the role

Whether you are looking for a new challenge or wanting to relocate to Mudgee, our team are seeking skilled and qualified Field Service Plant Mechanic’s, to join our growing team.
This position will see you reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, whilst you will be supporting our customers in the Western region of NSW, performing on site maintenance and repairs on a range of Caterpillar machinery.

Duties

• Repair, maintain and service CAT machinery to ensure maximum productivity for our customers
• Perform diagnostic assessments on CAT equipment
• Liaise with customers and Sales representatives to provide product support and advice
• Utilise CAT systems (SIS/ET) and provide information for service reports + warranty claims
• Ensuring the safety of self and your teammates

Roster and Rem

We are offering multiple rosters for suitable applicants

• 7x7 roster – 12 hour shifts (even time roster)
• Hourly rate FROM $64.11, OT rate FROM $96.17
• 21% location allowance for F/S staff
• 15% field service allowance
• 15% shift allowance

Skills & Experience

• Heavy Mechanical trade qualification - Plant Mechanic, Heavy Deisel Mechanic & Agricultural Mechanic. If you have another qualification similar, please enquire and we will see if we have a role for you!
• Experience with Caterpillar (or similar) equipment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously in the field
• Unrestricted drivers’ licence
• Post trade experience in mining, civil or ag industries & demonstrated diagnostic capability
• Experience with DBS, SIS and SIMSI desirable
• Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment
