Exciting opportunity for a site based HSE Advisor. The position is a project based role fixed term for 2 years, with a FIFO roster of 10:4.

About the Role

As a site based HSE Advisor you will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation the HSE processes for Windlab projects, in line with the overall Windlab Business HSE system.

You will support the Project HSE Manager in implementing specific HSE and Emergency Management Plans, Procedures and executing on site in line with the requirements of the product specification and Windlabs Safety Management Systems.

You will be responsible for establishing a project safety culture by acting as role model for HSE excellence.


Who we are looking for!

A renewable energy enthusiast looking to make a difference. You will be a team-oriented individual who is dedicated to delivering excellence. You will be a health & Safety specialist with a track record of delivery in complex, challenging and remote environments within renewables or major infrastructure projects. You will have a strong technical foundation along with a solid understanding of the full spectrum of major civil and electrical projects. Windfarm experience would be considered favourable.

Having a detailed knowledge of applicable standards, laws, and regulations for windfarm construction and operations in Australia and Queensland is key to the success of the role.

Additional skills

  • Extensive experience in the areas of hazard identification techniques (HAZOPS, HAZIDs, Pre-start-up readiness reviews, etc.) in addition to contractor assurance and reporting skills
  • Working knowledge of incident investigation processes, underpinned by strong analytical / root cause analysis skills.
