About the Role

To help us do this, we are expanding our Strategy and Transformation team which is energetic, bright and totally dedicated to the transformation and evolution of the business. We have great ideas and want to bring them together into a common framework that will help us to continue to grow and thrive in a new and exciting world. We need to augment the team with your creative energy and your capacity for industrialized operating model design and delivery.
You will be helping us to design the future of our business and expand our operating model design capacity. This is a unique and challenging role that will entail:
- Working in a multi-disciplinary and international team to develop the target operating model for Avanade
- Translating strategy and ideas into workable operating model designs
- Developing integrated operating model components
- Building compelling operating model documentation and guidelines
- Leading others to develop more detailed design specifications
- Formulating and deploying workable strategies for operating model evolution, stress testing and deployment – including the rapid deployment of suitable tools and methods
- Coaching your colleagues in best practice for operating model design and delivery

As an operating model consultant, you will see the big picture and have a love of detail. You will be able to demonstrate a flair for integrated and innovative thinking and be deeply fascinated with how things work and how they fit together. You will enjoy working creatively and collaboratively with others and be able to balance theory with practical design and implementation. It is vital that you are comfortable with uncertainty, passionate about quality and thrilled at the thought of seeing your ideas in action.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Relevant educational experience preferred. With a strong track record in operating model design and strategic business transformation, you will be able to talk to us with passion and energy about your:
- 5 years plus of practice in business architecture and operating model design
- Extensive exposure to blueprint design and transformation at pace and scale
- Familiarity and expertise in several business architecture approaches, methods and tools
- Ideally familiar with global operating model patterns in the IT services or technology sectors
