The Technology, Avanade X, and Advisory Business Groups (BG) are Avanade’ growth engines and are responsible for developing market relevant capabilities and solutions to help clients resolve critical business and technology issues.
The newly established Integrated Go-To-Market (IGTM) function brings the full breadth of Avanade’s propositions, offerings, and capabilities to life for our clients. The IGTM function will help us capture target market opportunities, address critical client business issues, and integrate the best of Avanade. It will create value for Avanade’s clients through innovation for industry-aligned, outcome-focused, insight-led solutions. It will empower Avanade’s people to deliver market-leading solutions and enhance their careers through a culture of collaboration. The IGTM model will advance our distinct partner ecosystem to further scale our collective market opportunities, leadership positions and influence in the market.
Lines of Business (LOB) are oriented around core client imperatives and are the nexus between industry, functional and innovation needs, and technology excellence. LOBs represent a significant opportunity to drive incremental growth for Avanade and capture 1-billion-dollar wallet share of a market opportunity.
LOBs will bring integrated capabilities to the market through repeatable plays with industry narratives, pulling from Accenture and Microsoft industry expertise, functional and innovation thought leadership, and Microsoft technology excellence. The repeatability of LOB plays will allow for commercial structures that will respond to the need for speed and increased margin/lower cost to the client.
LOBs focus on business outcomes for clients and will consist of a cross-functional team of integrated capabilities from across Avanade’s Business Groups and Practices. The scope of the IGTM function includes our Global LOBs, Global Industry Leads, Portfolio Management, Partner Ecosystem & Alliances, and Integrated Center of Excellence (COE), and Managed Services to ensure our strategies, solutions, and delivery drive significant business value.
Defines and orchestrates target market capture strategy for client’s strategic imperatives that deliver high-growth incremental business and require a cross-BGs approach
Leads the team that designs, test, scales and evolves market leading value propositions and services (LOB plays) that address client’s strategic imperatives
Leverages a variety of industry thought leadership including guidance from the Global Prioritized Industry Leads and insights from the Client Groups, Accenture industry thought leadership, and Microsoft industry strategy to provide LOB plays that deliver business outcomes for clients’ strategic imperatives
Owns global capability development roadmap for LOB plays and aligns this with Global Business Group and Practice Leads
Leverages Global Partner Ecosystem & Alliances to generate uniquely differentiated solutions that address client’s strategic imperatives and that can scale
Involved in working with regions to win key/strategic LOB pursuits
Internal and external thought leadership ambassador for Avanade and actively involved in achieving external recognition as a thought leader in the LOB LOB Market Strategy
Skills and experiences:
Likely 15+ years’ experience establishing a portfolio of complex, integrated services in B2B marketplace, management consulting, and/or technology firms
Experience growing and leading a global consulting business and delivering significant financial results
Significant managerial experience leading senior leaders and global teams
Experience translating enterprise strategy into business strategy and delivering objectives for a significant area of a company
Track record of client leadership as an executive sponsor on large deals or top-priority clients
Master at leveraging global market trends to understand client needs and to create compelling, innovative, scalable, sell-able solutions
Senior executive leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and clients
Ability to create and drive impactful relationships with partners (business and client growth)
Ability to operate and think beyond organizational siloes and pull multiple different stakeholders together from across the business to deliver results for the company
Growth mindset, effective communicator, thought leader, brand builder
Ability to lead leaders through influence to deliver results for the enterprise
Deep subject matter expertise and thought leader
Expert knowledge of Accenture and Microsoft and how to drive business value from it or ability to rely on others to leverage Accenture and Microsoft
