Recruiting for culture fit

When we recruit, we assess role fit and culture fit. Each role fits into a team, and so getting the right dynamic is crucial. Our managers place more importance on potential than experience and look for individuals that are aligned with our values. Every shortlisted candidate meets their potential team and Globe’s Culture-Compass and PACMan (People and Culture Manager) to explore whether we can help each other achieve our full potential.

Creating culture beyond our physical environment

While we are driven to ensure that our offices are fun, inspiring, and collaborative, our culture is not bound to 4 walls!  With a global team working in hybrid environments or completely remotely, we are passionate about ensuring our culture exceeds the limitations of a physical office and bringing Globe, home.

There are always opportunities for collaboration and social activities within your direct team, regional team, and your global team. Between your local GEO and our social committee, you’ll get to participate in virtual Escape Rooms, yoga on Wellness Wednesdays, Friday Trivia, and Jingle & Mingle meet and greets – you name it!

We proudly partner with Dress for Success Perth, and Down Syndrome WA and passionately support MindUK, Ronald McDonald House, Multiple Sclerosis WA, the Salvation Army and the Cancer Council, amongst many more, through initiatives, volunteer workshops, fundraisers, abseiling down buildings (!) and teamwork each year.

Here at Globe, we do our best to support your mental wellbeing through Wellness Wednesdays; where our team in Manchester host virtual yoga, workshops led by wellbeing experts, visits from George the Groodle, walking challenges and other initiatives through our Wellness Program. Walking meetings and encouraged and practicing gratitude has become part of our weekly reflection.
