Your New Role...

The International Compensation Project Director will play a key leadership role within the International Reward Team. This role will focus on harmonising compensation plans and programmes across the combined WBD organisation internationally and will review our International Reward operating model, to ensure streamlined and efficient processes are in place. This role will require an experienced leader with two direct reports, and will partner and collaborate with key leadership stakeholders within the Global Total Rewards team, throughout the organisation and with external partners.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Lead the compensation projects that impact multiple International regions, which include Latin America, EMEA and APAC. Currently including, but not limited to:

  • Lead end-to-end compensation projects, from initial planning to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.

  • Collaborate with US Compensation Team as well as cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess impact, and implement compensation changes.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on compensation trends and best practices

  • Participate in the International Pay range review project, including building a sustainable model within the Global Framework, driving efficiency in job pricing, empowering P&C and ensuring pay decisions are underpinned by market data.

  • Oversee the creation of International Compensation resources and tools to support the education of our International P&C Teams and Managers

  • Review the design of new plans, requiring stakeholder consultation and approvals, implementation, and communications.

  • Support wider compensation harmonisation activity by overseeing the development of templates, collaborating on solutions, and providing expert guidance.

  • Leading on the review of sales plan eligibility and processes, working with People and Culture (P&C), to review roles against existing eligibility criteria and determining process for future policies.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on compensation trends and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Proven track record of delivering significant and complex projects across multiple markets using sound project management techniques. Ability to lead multiple projects/tasks concurrently, prioritising and delegating effectively

  • Strong experience of Sales Plans, Job Architectures and Compensation Programmes including the design and implementation of new plans. MS office skills, including PowerPoint and excel to intermediate level as a minimum. Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides skills useful

  • Ability to quickly build robust relationships with stakeholders and to effectively influence others and manage conflict.

  • A global ‘one team’ mindset to support collaborative working across the team with a willingness to both take a lead or support role as appropriate for the situation

  • Proven leadership and management skills that empower and support the development of formal direct reports and informal dotted line reports

  • Excellent communication skills, delivering complex messages and concepts in a clear and engaging way, tailoring their communication style effectively to their audience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to design processes and operating practices that minimise risk and drive efficiency.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
