Your New Role

A great opportunity & exciting time to join the EMEA Streaming team look to build on the successful launch of Max and continue its expansion in EMEA. This role will be critical to the success of this key company priority – providing a chance to work with both streaming & international leadership.

The focus of the role will be to

Act as a key strategic partner to EMEA Regional Streaming Lead / Global Streaming functional leadership teams leading GTM strategy on future geographic expansion of Max, Responsibility for the streaming partnership roadmap, working with leadership, commercial & technical teams for Max launch. Supporting EMEA GMs & their leadership teams in Europe on opportunities to accelerate growth in existing Max markets Support Regional Streaming Lead on any other ad-hoc growth initiatives (in-house / M&A) as they arise

Your Role Accountabilities

Max Expansion:

  • Key team lead in planning & strategy for Max expansion into new markets
    • Act as a key POC for the streaming team and EMEA GMs + their leadership teams.
    • Identify, capture & work through unique local market considerations to ensure they are captured within the wider Max programme as we work toward launch.

Distribution Partnerships:

  • Ownership of Roadmap for New Partnership Expansion / Renewals
    • Evaluation of new partnerships / renewals with local market teams and EMEA partnerships lead to ensure appropriate approvals process followed within the context of the commercial guidelines
    • Prioritisation of new integration requests with Regional Streaming Lead & Commercial Strategy Lead to ensure optimal allocation of technology resource to drive best overall WBD business goals.
    • Act as an advisor to local market teams and support on best practice during partner negotiations and deal structure, leveraging learnings from other markets to facilitate knowledge transfer and improvement in deal terms.
    • Key POC for Global Partnership Integration teams within region to unblock issues, escalate issues as required and ensure EMEA is appropriately factored into global roadmaps.

Non Traditional Partnerships:

Evaluate opportunities for either pan-regional or local non-traditional partnerships to expand distribution for Max Work with relevant streaming teams on execution of these partnerships.

Other:

  • Lead projects that do not neatly fit within an org chart or fall between departments - examples might include competitive benchmarking, deep dive analysis on internal/ external development, ad-hoc requests from streaming leadership.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working in a strategy/ ops/ consulting background for a media company or D2C/ Subscription service
  • Experience working in a multinational, matrixed environment
  • Adept at managing senior stakeholders
  • Presentation skills
  • Proficient with Excel
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
