Senior Product Designer, Loom Integration

Location: Remote - US only

Job Type: Full time

Working at Atlassian

Atlassian acquired Loom to lead in remote first, asynchronous work. With Loom's async video expertise and Atlassian's team collaboration understanding, we aim to innovate and empower customers for richer collaboration. Join us on our mission to make the impossible possible.

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

This is a remote role. To help our teams work together, you must be located between PST and EST timezones.

Atlassian Design

Design is a vital organization at Atlassian, and critical to Loom’s mission of video. By radically improving the experience of recording and sharing quick video messages, we are creating a new and more humane way of communicating at work. This requires us to think big and to discover and explore uncharted territory. That's why we're focused on building a diverse, and resilient design team, full of experienced people who love feedback and collaboration. Joining Atlassian is an opportunity to be at the forefront of industry transformation — how video is used at work and how AI can enable leapfrog improvements and simplicity in video creation and consumption.

Your Background

  • Extensive experience in Product Design organizations, working closely with Product and Engineering partners

  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in interaction and visual design, idea generation, and product sense.

  • User-centric thinking: You dive deep into audience needs, test hypotheses, and measure the magic you create.

  • Bridge between user needs, business objectives, and technical possibilities, experience to influence xfn decisions via design and user-led methodologies, in order to drive the team’s core metrics.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills.

  • Collaboration is in your DNA, and you lead by example in a rapid growth environment.

  • Huge plus if you’ve worked with remote teammates and understand the communication patterns of working with highly distributed teams.

  • Curiosity and the pursuit of excellence drive you forward.
