Atlassian’s Finance team is a globally engaged organization that accelerates Atlassian’s strategy by providing critical insights, secure and scalable services in support of internal and external stakeholders. The team includes the Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Internal Audit, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Tax functions. As part of your role, you will work in the general ledger accounting team and gain experience in supporting month end close and projects in your assigned areas.

• At least one year of classroom and/or Accounting internship work experience demonstrating overall understanding of fundamental accounting acumen including journal entries, US GAAP accounting standards, data analytics, interpreting financial statements, and financial reporting.

• Strong competency in MS Office and Google suite, especially in Excel and Google sheets including pivot tables; certifications or relevant coursework preferred

• Power BI /Tableau or other data visualization experience a plus

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong written and oral communication

• Highly driven and resourceful, capable of working with high degree of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple business partners and teams

• Preferred: Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters in Accounting

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.

In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $74,700 - $99,600

Zone B: $67,300 - $89,700

Zone C: $62,100 - $82,700

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
