As a Principal Applications Engineer in Recruiting Tech, you’ll work with teams across the world, to improve the technologies that power Atlassian’s Talent Acquisition engine! You bring expertise in our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) iCIMS, are comfortable with a dynamic environment, and are extremely motivated to engineering practices and operational excellence. You are enthusiastic and interested in making positive contributions to the team. Your passions include working with technology, defining and refining ways of working, and providing world-class support to employees.
Your background:
8+ years of experience in recruitment technology
Hands-on iCIMS configuration experience including managing user roles and permissions.
2+ years experience in mentoring and coaching application engineers or business system analysts
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of HR and recruitment processes, technologies, integrations and data.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at different altitudes.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices.

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $197,000 - $262,700
Zone B: $177,300 - $236,400
Zone C: $163,600 - $218,100
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
