That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

About the Role

Join our TEAM and help us unleash the potential of every Atlassian.

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Development Program Manager to help us build and manage impactful talent development solutions that drive measurable value to the organization.

You'll support one or more business units, such as Engineering or Marketing, and act as the primary liaison between the Talent Development team and the business. You’ll maintain a deep understanding of their talent needs, and drive the strategy, design, and execution of tailored solutions to meet those needs. This includes things like onboarding, career pathways, upskilling initiatives, and mobility programs, all designed to ensure the ongoing growth and success of both our employees and Atlassian.

This individual contributor will sit within the Talent Development pillar of our Talent Team and report into the Director of Talent Development. You’ll work closely with peer Program Managers, Talent Partners, Learning Experience Designers, Human Resources Business Partners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to build and implement impactful solutions across the business.

For this remote position, we’re ideally looking for someone based in the Pacific Time Zone (PST) or Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) to ensure optimal collaboration with our team members in the United States, Australia, Europe, India and the Philippines.

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, relevant field, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 10 years of experience in talent development with proven expertise in building, scaling, and refining impactful programs, products, processes, and frameworks.

  • Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing end-to-end talent solutions that align with business objectives and add measurable value.

  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and the latest innovations in learning and development.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record in translating complex business needs into impactful talent development solutions.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of building relationships at every organizational level.

  • Proficient in program management, with meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience with data analysis and leveraging metrics to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Skilled at effectively communicating and navigating change, ensuring talent development initiatives align with evolving business strategies and facilitate seamless transitions.

  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted and productive working relationships with partners and stakeholders of all levels across the business.

  • Passionate about using innovative approaches, including AI tools, to improve the effectiveness of the team and talent development solutions we create.
