We are looking for a Data Analytics leader who is passionate about data, highly organized, analytical, and can coach and develop a high-performing team. This role involves leading cross-functional projects, building a data community, managing a high-performing team of data analysts and modeling specialists, and providing support to a large and evolving FP&A organization with increasingly complex data and analytics requirements.

The FP&A team is a hardworking and collaborative team with a mix of technology industry, consulting and financial services background. We work closely with business leaders across multiple functions including product, GTM and finance to support the Company's continued growth. North America Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $207,400 - $276,500

Zone B: $186,600 - $248,800

Zone C: $172,100 - $229,500

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • 10+ years of BI & Data experience, with experience partnering with Data Engineering to source and stage data.

  • 6+ years of experience managing teams, including as a manager of managers.

  • Experience scaling and developing a team of data scientists, with individual contributors to group manager-level direct reports.

  • Previous experience working at a strategic level to devise and roll out an analytical roadmap

  • Prior demonstrated experience working in and reviewing code in SQL and at least one other data science programming language (e.e. Python, R).

  • Extensive track record of influencing business strategy and driving change across organizational boundaries through clear and compelling communication of data-driven insights and analyses.

It's great, but not required of you have:

  • Exposure to working with planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) and finance ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)

  • Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience

  • A degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, or a related analytical field

  • Comfort with structuring and coaching others to work through open-ended business questions through analytics
