This is a remote position. To help our teams work together effectively, this role requires you to be located in the United States (PST timezone preferred).

Atlassian is looking for an innovative strategy professional to join our growing compensation team. This role will report to the Director, Executive Compensation & Strategy and play a critical role in bringing strategic, innovative thinking to solving some of the most nebulous problems we face in the compensation space today and designing the next generation of compensation strategy and plan design. This role does not specifically require compensation experience.

Your background

  • 4+ years in management consulting orcorporate / HR strategy with an interest in the People space or 4+ years in a compensation team designing innovative compensation offerings within a fast-paced, high-growth global company.

  • Expertise in designing, incubating, and launching new programs and processes

  • Experience in change management and influencing across complex topics

  • Passion for approaching complex problems with a balance of data and insights, first principles thinking, and an eye for innovation and disruption.

  • Track record of successful senior stakeholder engagement and partnership, including exceptional consulting, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Nice to have: Compensation plan design, including short- and long-term incentive plan design, retention programs, and equitable offer strategies

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $152,300 - $203,100

Zone B: $137,100 - $182,800

Zone C: $126,400 - $168,600

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
