The Opportunity

We are seeking a Stormwater Specialist with over five years of experience to contribute their technical expertise and leadership to our Richmond office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical leadership on stormwater management, modelling, and masterplanning.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, explore innovative solutions, and embed them into DCE’s projects and practices.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused environment.
• Maintain and continuously improve stormwater tools, templates, and processes to ensure industry-leading standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Melbourne Water, councils, and suppliers.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience:

• A degree in Civil Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Chartered Engineer (NER) status and state registration (e.g., VER/RPEQ)/ working on obtaining this.
• Proficiency in stormwater modelling tools (e.g., RORB, MUSIC, TUFLOW).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
• Strong mentoring skills and a passion for developing others.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Current Construction White Card is preferable
• A valid Australian driver’s licence.
