Senior Technical Product Manager (Backend APIs)

Every technology team needs a "Product Vision", a "Technology Vision", and a "Delivery Vision" to deliver outstanding products. This role is the primary liaison between these three components for one of E4B’s biggest Financial Institution Loyalty partners. You will work as a problem-solver across multiple technology teams at E4B and Expedia Group, as well as with external partners, to ensure that teams coordinate in turning good ideas into compelling products. You are not only skilled in e-commerce technology and systems design but also in communications and processes. You will serve as a technical and product leader in multi-functional feature delivery and manage product and tech processes for a relationship with a multi-billion-dollar partner. What You'll Do :
Draws on experience to lead technical feasibility discussions, involving architects when appropriate
Manages product intake for a large team of technologists
Familiar with APIs and public cloud (AWS preferred)
Serves as a primary liaison between Product and Tech
Researches technical requirements of product asks
Evaluates and Manages Technical Risks
Prioritizes Tech backlog, balancing product roadmap deliverables and BAU/Tech Debt work
Partners with product to define use cases, UA criteria and test scenarios
Evangelizes technical best practices such as product documentation, static and dynamic scanning, code reviews, AB testing etc.
Strives for optimum organizational efficiency by applying systems thinking across boundaries and making recommendations about policies/ processes
Takes a whole systems approach to analyze issues and implements holistic solutions by ensuring that linkages between structure, people, process and technology are made
Provides support to dev team, e.g., clarification of requirements on a given milestone
Researches ADHOC/BAU asks, reproduces errors, etc and have story ready for intake by dev team
Removes technical blockers through partnership with the right technical teams
Works with ops/support teams to ensure robust monitoring of production features is in place
Who You Are :
Bachelor’s or Master's in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
7+ years of experience in technical and/or product roles
An experienced leader in technology, product,processes and organizational coordination
Familiar with e-commerce architecture and production resiliency
Strong background in working closely with Product Management to deliver clear requirements and backlogs
Comfortable using data to make technical and business decisions
Experience with APIs and working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, collaborate on and review technical designs, and support production systems

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
