Sr. Payment Operations Analyst

Expedia Global Payments (EGP) is a highly visible team which enables streamlined, secure, and efficient payment experiences for our travelers and partners. To do this, we provide a broad range of payment solutions, including all major credit cards, debit cards and a portfolio of alternative payment methods.

The Senior Analyst will play a meaningful role on the EGP team, driving the operation and execution of transactional global payments to and from Expedia Group and on its financial platforms.

What you will do:

  • You will support multiple operational functions across our organization, including payment configurations, vendor support, reconciliation, escalated issue resolution and customer support operations.

  • Perform daily operational duties within SLA (and help define those SLA’s) while managing process improvements

  • Create and update clear process documentation and standard operating procedures

  • Create eye catching and easy to understand ad hoc reporting solutions and operations dashboards

  • Comfortable and excited to communicate key data and findings to audiences of all levels (front line, supervisory, management)

  • Collaborate and develop partnerships with many cross functional and external teams including: Product Management, Risk (Fraud), Accounting, Chargebacks, Customer Service and Technology

  • Work with an inspired and passionate team

Who you are:

  • 2-4 years of work experience in a hands-on analytical or financial role

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and business partners

  • Exhibit energy and passion as a problem solver with the confirmed ability to make independent decisions

  • Naturally curious; someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and a customer centric mindset

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing, highly visible, and ambiguous environment

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Ex. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, Excel Dashboards). Our org utilizes Tableau. But you
    not need BI level experience!

  • Exhibit extraordinary organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working within the payment function of a large ecommerce merchant is a strong plus

  • Naturally curious; someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent related professional experience

The total cash range for this position in Springfield, MO is $61,500 to $86,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $98,500 which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
