Senior Product Manager

Expedia Group is looking for a customer focused Product Manager to define and deliver our long-term roadmap for our Identity Authentication Platform.

Our team’s mission is to increase efficiency and improve performance by enabling Identity capabilities across all Expedia Group divisions. We are looking for a Sr Product Manager to lead us on this journey.

What you'll do:

We believe that Identity is a powerful enabler with the potential to improve the customer experience of almost every product and service. As a key member of our team, you’ll work with international business partners, data scientists, designers, and engineers to launch ground-breaking features powered by AI.

  • Be the Agile Product Owner of mission critical Expedia Group Identity driving your roadmap to meet Identity and Expedia business goals prioritizing for maximum impact. Anticipate delivery risks, and manage trade-offs.
  • Use data and judgement to craft our strategy and define clear roadmaps across all our lines of business brands on our platform in alignment with business strategy.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, engineering, and data science teams to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Be a crucial part of the scrum team and work alongside developers, engineering manager, and scrum master to evaluate technical options, create requirements with well-defined acceptance criteria for epics and user stories that meet the Definition of Ready. Partner with strong technical teams to translate customer needs into workable technology solutions. Ensure that requirements are met per success criteria and drive the closure of any gaps to adhere to the Definition of Done.
  • Be a product champion for the Identity team and evangelize our vision and principles to stakeholders and partners across Expedia Group.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for Identity and Loyalty data products and regularly monitor and report on their performance. Rigorously execute on experiments and measure outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data trends and make informed decisions.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional consumer and partner teams to gather input, address concerns, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps and opportunities that will further inform the roadmap for our Identity and Loyalty platforms.

About you:

  • Experience in product management (technical product management a plus), or a background in business analysis, or technology program management.
  • Product, technical knowledge and previous experience with Identity Authentication including knowledge of use cases and the business problems that can be addressed with single sign-on, OIDC and SAML protocols, OAuth 2.0, WebAuthN/FIDO 2.0 and session management capabilities.
  • Think creatively and solve interesting problems in a fast-paced environment.

  • Any previous experience with identity, payments, streaming data, API product management, segmentation, or personalization will be beneficial.
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
