The Traveler Business Team builds and drives growth for our global consumer businesses—Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. This division creates compelling and differentiated traveler value for each brand by setting the strategic vision, operating strategy, and plan. Responsibilities include investment allocation and prioritization, P&L accountability, and leading cross-functional teams across Expedia Group, who are all held accountable to a single scorecard.

We are looking for a Business Performance Manager to join our Hotels.com team at Expedia Group. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive growth and optimize business results for Hotels.com, which is one of the largest brands in the Expedia portfolio with a fiercely loyal customer base. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the surging travel industry and help drive the business forward while working on impactful and complex problems. You will partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, Supply and Analytics teams to derive compelling business performance insights and initiatives to help Hotels.com win in the marketplace. In this role, you will:
Conduct and coordinate deep dives into business performance with various cross-functional teams to uncover actionable insights and drive strategic initiatives
Identify growth opportunities and influence cross-functional teams across Expedia Group to enable execution for successful outcomes
Develop insights to round out performance and understand short, medium, and long-term trends
Drive opportunities to size new initiatives/businesses
Develop a deep understanding of key site metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion, GBV, cancellations, take rate, booked revenue, GP) to unlock and drive actions to improve business performance in close partnership with key stakeholders
Experience and qualifications:
5+ years progressive experience in business management, ecommerce, economics, analytics or financial planning within the travel and/or tech industry
Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business Management, Economics) or MBA preferred; or equivalent in related professional experience
Strong understanding of financial metrics
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaboration across a matrixed organization
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
