Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy


In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategy. Leads the definition, planning, and execution of strategic projects, partnering with cross functional teams.

In this role you will:

  • Identifies the presenting business issue impacting multiple teams and develops the rationale for initiating a project or change.

  • Develops potential business solutions and tactics and conducts broad analysis (e.g., pros/cons, cost/benefit, risks, resources, timing) to determine the viability of various alternatives.

  • Drafts the business case for change and presents recommended solution based on analysis to own leaders.

  • Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor.

  • Identifies strategic issues and raises questions to help customers explore and understand their wider business challenges.

  • Utilizes thorough understanding of current business processes and challenges to recommend and match solutions to meet unique business needs and achieve objectives.

  • Devises new methods and procedures for collecting data; performs complex data analyses and presents findings on the underlying principles, reasons or facts.

  • Develops advanced models to test hypotheses and understand the impact of more complex decisions in various scenarios, drawing upon thoughts and insights from different sources.

  • Utilizes understanding of key industry terminology, industry players, and key performance indicators to draw conclusions about trends.

  • Remains cognizant of industry changes, challenges and findings; integrates industry issues for customer benefit.

  • Serves as an expert on how products/services are applied across a particular industry; recommends the best options for the business.

  • Utilizes knowledge of the organization’s business model and operations to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission.

  • Applies advanced understanding of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its customers to anticipate and plan for each step of a complex project.

  • Demonstrates understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions to drive projects and analyses that support the organization’s mission.

Experience and qualifications

  • 8+ years for Bachelor's

  • 6+ years for Master's

  • Adept problem solver who supports a test-and-learn and data driven decision making culture

  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization

  • Able to create a compelling narrative using data and insights and share with broader audience

  • Makes sound business decisions by combining a number of factors to arrive at the best outcome for a given situation

  • Able to scope and deliver on strategic projects working with a variety of stakeholders

  • Developing subject matter expertise; sought after for expertise and insights on a set of specific of topics with the ability to translate them into action

Please note that this role is only available in Seattle to remain in alignment with our flexible work model which requires employees to be in-office at least three days a week. We are unable to offer relocation assistance for this role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
