Division Overview

Hubbell Commercial & Industrial (HCI) provides solutions for a broad range of non-residential and residential construction, commercial and industrial applications along with high-voltage test and measurement solutions. Position Overview

We recently joined the CMC (Connectors Manufacturing), a Hubbell company with long standing history. Our product lines include connectors and solar panel fasteners with the commercial and residential market, along with fabricated parts for the automotive industry. At this time, we are looking to add a Production Supervisor to our fantastic team. The supervisor will coordinate the efficient operation of manufacturing activities by performing supervisory tasks, while complying with current policies and procedures, QMS and safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee production employees.
  • Manage department safety.
  • Manage department staffing
  • Achieve productivity gains while improving quality, working towards reducing costs and eliminating waste.
  • Provide supervisory role in dealing with shop problems and make the decisions necessary to alleviate the problem.
  • Maintain commitment to excellence, quality and customer service.
  • Be an active participant in various management committees Establish goals and encourage growth and new ideas and follow-up as necessary.
  • Be a coach and mentor while coordinating daily workload and facilitating projects.
  • Be a liaison between departments and facilities to disperse information and encourage communication.

Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma/GED a must
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Excel, and SAP preferred
  • Familiarity working with Kaizen and 5S standards
