Position Overview
The Lean Technician will work as a hands-on integrations resource with a focus on continuous improvement projects. They will be a link between the production floor and the maintenance department by providing a high level understanding of manufacturing processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in continuous improvement projects including but not limited to production capacity, OEE, and automation
Comfortable with hands-on fabrication tasks
Evaluates systems or machinery to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed
Engage in tasks resulting from root cause problem solving, process Gemba walks, 5S audits and procedures, and Kaizen Teian events
Research, procure, and install new mechanisms and peripherals on existing machinery
Perform small installation projects including but not limited to: footprinting, storage & organization, racking, shelving, brackets, guarding.
Performs other related duties and reporting as assigned
Skills and Experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Ability to work in high paced changing environments
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Automation, robotics, and PLC experience
Teamwork welcoming an environment of inclusiveness and healthy debate

Sharepoint, Power BI and, Autodesk Inventor is a plus
Minimum 3-5+ years in a maintenance role
Working in a manufacturing support or manufacturing applications role a plus
