Quality Manager - Centralia, MO
Job Overview
To lead and direct the Centralia Operations Quality team. The Quality Manager will be expected to establish, document, communicate, audit and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System. By working closely with the Operations Staff, Quality resources and other employees, this position is responsible to proactively work toward creating and sustaining work practices that eliminate non-standard product from being shipped while minimizing waste internally. The Quality Manager will be expected to professionally respond to any customer concerns to quickly resolve the concern, communicate plans and be personally involved to assure proper corrective and preventive measures are implemented and sustained.
A Day In The Life
Major Job Responsibilities:
- Establish quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Responsible for direct supervision of Quality Department employees
- Good communications and technical skills required to help take the organization to the next level.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality expectations while working to reduce waste and increase productivity
- Serve as a technical liaison internally and externally
- Assist and promote quality improvements and cost savings, through the Kaizen improvement process.
- Establish and maintain the proper controls on documentation, procedures, and auditing to sustain continued compliance with ISO system
- Promote the use of relevant quality and analytical tools for problem solving

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel periodically on business-related trips; ability to move to various locations within the Company; ability to communicate; ability to work on personal computer or other related equipment as required.
RECOMMENDED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: BS Degree preferred
