Job Overview

The SMB Marketing Manager for the TE Communications Solutions Segment will develop integrated marketing strategies and lead related implementation of Campaigns that support our business objectives with SMB and Channel partnerships within the Americas and EMEA.

This role is at the Segment level and is responsible for setting the standards and processes that will enable Marketing efficacy for all of its business units, specifically Appliances, Data & Devices, Performance Materials, Solution Center (SC), Channel.

The role must build clear vision, strategy, initiatives, metric tracking & optimizing approaches, collaborate effectively with stakeholders to transform marketing campaigns into sales conversion, and conduct effective data & funnel analytics, employ both science and art of marketing to drive successful outcomes.

This role must partner with internal teams and external agencies to develop and execute digital marketing best practices to exceed the SMB customer and revenue targets. The scope of growth channels includes but not restricted to Search, Programmatic, Social, Vertical Media, Partnership, Database and Distributor Co-Op.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with CS Marketing leadership to create a common vision for leveraging SMB program & distribution to advance segment goals.
  • Serve as a critical partner to BU Product & Integrated Marketing and understand the key business drivers and levers for business success.
  • Initiative SMB marketing strategies & effective initiatives and align with key stakeholders & partners to drive revenue results with financial objectives & budget.
  • Lead customer campaign effectiveness in TE digital ecosystem and push regional expansion, know-how and capability building.
  • Explore, study, pilot, expand and sustain SMB growth opportunities and channels with actionable planning and ROI assessment.
  • Ensure continuous optimization of each program to drive results versus forecast on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with Product & Integrated Marketing, SC, Channel, Agency, and distribution marketing team to develop strategies and tactics.
  • Manage and optimize agency relationships with a focus on media buying including paid search, programmatic, endemic, social media, CRM email.
  • Develop metrics linked with marketing success and measure results to determine best practices and ensure marketing tactics deliver desired results.
  • Perform customer analysis, segmenting customers into meaningful target groups and deploying precise marketing tactics based on actionable insights.
  • Increase lifetime value and reduce churn by engaging customers with the most targeted, relevant, and personalized content at each stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Act as a role model for marketing, fostering, and promoting a mind-set and culture of customer-centric & marketing excellence.
  • Influence Product Marketing who has ownership of project plans and successful completion of key BU marketing projects aligned with strategic business goals
  • Serve as liaison with Marketing in other BUs and other critical functions to drive global consistency, best practices and efficiencies related to SMB marketing processes and standards.
  • Partner with cross Segments teams to drive campaign effectiveness & synergy of growth initiatives.
  • Partner with Digital team to build & support initiatives in improving CX and business conversion.

What your background should look like:

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA – preferably advanced education and/or coursework, MBA degree preferred.
  • In-depth global marketing knowledge and experience with online marketing strategies and programs.
  • 5-8 years of integrated marketing experience in a B2B or Tier1/Tier 2 component manufacture company with a heavy focus on long-tail market development.
  • Proven expertise in B2B performance marketing, including Digital Marketing (SEM/SEO/Social), Media Planning/Buying, Campaign Development/Management, E-Mail nurturing and Analytics.
  • Strong business acumen, knowledge of the online medias, distribution partners, customer, competition, and issues impacting business coupled with the ability to use this information to shape communications and strategies.
  • Solid customer-centric customer journey design capability with excellent balance skillset of delivering quick-win performance and innovations for long-term.
  • Proven project management skills including conceptualization, driving alignment/change management, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of eCommerce in both vertical & marketplace to drive performance and conversion from marketing/media campaigns
  • Highly analytical, data-driven and understands how to optimize programs to deliver upon overall company goals and metrics.
  • Strong inter-personal skills with proven track record of forging excellent relationships at multiple levels of an organization.
  • A convincing communicator with compelling perspectives and knowledge of marketing trends and innovations.
  • An innovative thinker and creative problem solver, ability, and willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Flexible with work hours when collaborating with co-workers in other time zones
  • Deep understanding of Inside Sales Operations and funnel management.
  • Strong team leadership skill and management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with AEM(Adobe Experience Manager), AA(Adobe Analytics), Salesforce, and Eloqua a plus.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation abilities.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $110,000.000 - $130,000.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
