Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Key Tasks:

- Regional coordination and reporting of actions leading to achieving key target like revenue, inventory, overdue reduction, freight forecast
- Implement and drive safety stock update process in the region
- Support the local teams in driving Lead Time reduction program to increase customer satisfaction
- Drive and coordinate structural inventory reduction program with the local teams (identification and implementation of consignment programs, MOQ reduction, buffer stock at vendors)
- Support the team in establishing accurate and reliable billing forecast
- Support the teams in defining mitigation plans in case of deviation to execution targets
- Define and coordinate the implementation of the actions, process improvements needed to increase key strategic Supply Chain kpis (Ship To Schedule, Ship To Request, DOH, overdue backlog, aging backlog)
- Coach, train the new planners
- Drive productivity and efficiency by managing a culture of continuous improvement
- Build strong cross functional relationships with other functions to drive collaboration and accountability
- Work with the commercial team to bring more analytics to understand customer ordering pattern

Salary Range: $93,200 - $116,500

What your background should look like:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering
and minimum 8 years of experience in similar position
- Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management
- Ability to prioritize workload based upon organization / team needs
- On hand experience of lean manufacturing and Material replenishment and flow
- Skill in identifying complex problems and in evaluating options to solve the issue
- Skill in data management, Excel, ERP system
- Strong Project Management & Communication Skills
- Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration
- Exhibits, drives and communicates a clear understanding of desired results
- Has clear vision and demonstrates the ability to learn, develop and deploy new ideas
- Can motivate/influence others to change
