Job Overview

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of strategies, frameworks, programs, and processes at TE Connectivity related to effective enterprise risk management (ERM), crisis management, and business resiliency. Supervises individual programs and program managers for ERM and business continuity. Implements programs to enable the company to better identify and mitigate risks, prepare for potential threats and crises, and respond effectively to business disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain ERM programs to enhance the effectiveness of risk management activities aligned to the organizations profile.
  • Identify existing and emerging risks and develop custom models to quantify risks and mitigate potential impacts to the organization.
  • Perform risk assessments and provide solutions for risk response strategies.
  • Oversee development of TE’s risk culture—the set of encouraged risk behaviors and guardrails aligned with the company’s and the business units’ objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Verify and validate that risk tolerances and mitigation efforts are consistent with the company’s direction.
  • Supervise program manager for ERM and set program priorities and objectives.
  • Routinely report to the Chief Risk Officer and business leaders regarding changes in the risk profile.

Crisis Management and Business Continuity

  • Ensure appropriate crisis management response and business continuity procedures are identified, detailed, tested, and shared throughout the enterprise.
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to implement crisis management and business continuity plans.
  • Supervise program manager for Crisis Management and Business Resilience and set program priorities and objectives.
  • Oversee the maintenance and updates of TE’s crisis management program, including crisis planning, scenario exercises, response, playbook development, and continuous improvement.
  • Support activations of TE’s Corporate Crisis Management Team.
  • Ensure TE has and maintains appropriate tools and technologies for effective incident response and recovery.

Insider Threat Management

  • Work closely with TE’s information security teams to ensure the company has appropriate protections, strategies, and processes in place for effective data protection and insider risk programs.
  • Lead investigations into identified insider threat events and maintain TE’s insider threat investigation policies and protocols.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $186,200 - $279,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
