The Role
TE sells directly to customers and through Channel Distribution partners around the globe. In the Channel business, we work closely with our partners to provide our end customers with our products and solutions across our various end markets.

Our global Solutions Centers provide support to our distribution partners, customers and internal teams through customer care, inside sales, product information and shared services teams.

The Director of Global Digital Product is one of the key leaders within the Channel organization and executes the vision and entire lifecycle of digital product, from inception to launch. This includes bringing together many facets of digital such as: customers, design, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, compliance, legal and more. Contribute to the overall product vision, create a strategy and execute to support both product solutions and accompanying processes for internal and external users. Lead the innovation process and assure a pipeline of new ideas are being generated continuously. Using effective project management, they target budgets through successful planning, logistics, and implementation. Working in partnership with our sales, marketing and technology teams to gauge insights for the product and define differentiation, grow customers’ revenue share while evolving a frictionless customer experience across TE, as well as TE’s distributor network.

This position will report to the Vice President - Global Customer Solutions - Channel. There is flexibility with regard to location within the US as well as global locations in Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clearly Define the intended Customer Experiences and required to support the targeted customer experiences we intend.
  • Thoroughly evaluate current state of the Digital echo system and tech stack and the gaps within that stack.
  • Create/enhance the digital product roadmap to support the experiences intended, with a particular focus on TE.com and Self Service as a priority.
  • Lead the development of a digital product (or a suite of such products) leveraging internal teams, TE Digital COE, TEIS, and 3rd party resources.
  • Drive execution in an Agile way of working.
  • Analyze the market to make sure the product continues to offer advantages over its competitors.
  • Understand the user persona and buyer persona and develop unique value propositions for both.
  • Monitor, analyze, and act on key product analytics. Continually improve the product, increase retention rate, and boost customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Create and prioritize the strategic product roadmap.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to help analyze the market, competitors and filling in the gaps of user needs and help identify revenue generating areas.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or Engineering from a leading institution is required. MBA highly preferred.
  • 6 years of experience as a Product Manager or a similar role in an Agile, Scrum, Kanban or similar software application development and/or project management team environment, or an equivalent combination of education experience and/or training.
  • Strong customer facing digital subject matter expertise with experience working on medium complexity features and/or entire software application.
  • Experience improving processes with success in managing and executing digital products.
  • Understanding of key metrics and demonstrated success in Customer Lifetime Value, Customer Acquisition Cost, Monthly Recurring Revenue, Average Revenue Per User, NPS, Churn Rate, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a large global staff and strengthen the culture of the organization.
  • Track record of delivering enterprise initiatives, which require cross functional team leadership and the ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Helps create and maintain a positive department culture through the participation in, and creation of cultural initiatives and cross-functional events
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $166,000 - $249,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
