Job Overview

NDT Inspector IV Position:

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITES

  • Inspect parts for material defects and irregularities

  • Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique(s)

  • Interpret, evaluate, and document results

  • Generate NDT report, organize report and evaluate data for disposition.

  • Support product & process failure root cause analysis

  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

  • Obtain and analyze information skillfully.

  • Provide support to manufacturing departmental Quality Control Inspectors, as necessary, to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.

  • Prepare QA reports as directed by the QA Manager.

  • Support the control of Non-conforming material process

  • Assist in the development of quality plans, implement established methods for new and existing products for inspection and test procedures

  • Support Calibration of equipment

  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and to drive product quality

  • Other appropriate duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be US citizen due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR & EAR

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)

Prior certification as an NDE Level II with two-year experience per SNT-TC1A standards.

Levell II PT & VT Certifications (Required)

Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for PT & VT

Associate Degree (High School + 2 yrs)

Working knowledge of ISO 9001

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $49,000 – $61,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
