Job Overview
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor a bank of thermoplastic injection molding machines going from machine to machine to monitor production as required. Assure that sprue picker and grinder are working properly. Separate runners and production parts as required.
- Monitor multi-cavity thermoplastic machines that produce different types of molded parts on fully automatic or single cycle operation.
- As required use go/no-go gaging, dial calipers, gage pins, and microscopes to inspect the molded housings according to the quality inspection plans.
- Dump production bins onto workstation table and visually check parts for non-fill, cracks, broken steel, or other non-conformities and complete associated paperwork. Refer all problems, including press alarms to group leader or set-up person for adjustment.
- Record production data, scrap data, inspections completed, and general comments throughout the production run via the production logs, mold report cards, and QIP inspection form at multiple presses.
- Place the proper amount of housings in each shipping container by operating the weigh scales as required. Package per Pali requirements.
- Assemble cardboard shipping containers for multiple presses and packaging staging area and apply completed trace labels or other applicable information to the outside of these containers.
- Continuously clean workstation area of parts, pellets, and runners that fall on the floor or get caught on machine per 5S+1 and TEOA requirements. This includes a 5S+1 cleanup at the press each shift, 5S+1 cleanup at the scales and west wall weekly, and at the end of each factory order.
- Perform TPM walkaround (autonomous maintenance) at multiple presses.
- Monitor additional presses for the set-up adjusters as required when they are setting up and processing.
- Attend daily GO meetings and communicate with incoming and outgoing shifts.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $37,440.00 - $45,760.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
