Job Overview


TE Connectivity in Berwyn, PA is looking for a Senior Director, Corporate Strategy to:
1) Be Steward of Enterprise Portfolio Strategy.

  • Advise Chief Executive Officer.
  • Update Board of Directors.
  • Monitor and track shareholder return.
2) Refresh Business Unit and Function Strategy.
  • Through the Quarterly Growth Review process, ensure alignment of business unit and function strategy to enterprise strategy and 5-year strategic outlook.
3) Lead Growth Strategy Initiatives.
  • Direct teams of high-performing Corporate Strategy professionals and be accountable for their performance and career development.
  • Work alongside Segment/Business Unit General Managers in identifying and executing on key growth and margin expansion opportunities.
  • Constructively challenge the organization to refine its “where to play” and “how to win” choices to drive growth, improve profitability, and sustain competitive advantage.
  • Support the design and deployment of a growth process/management operating system to drive execution of the business unit growth and margin expansion objectives.
  • Own the process of socializing and championing growth ideas and opportunities with key stakeholders to secure alignment and facilitate execution.
  • Work alongside Business Unit GMs in championing transformational and large-scale growth ideas with stakeholders outside the business unit – such as Segment/Corporate leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to identify and develop adjacency growth projects that significantly expand our addressable market.
4) Upgrade Strategy Capabilities.
  • Hands-on involvement with talent development, retention, and acquisition.
  • Foster a diverse, inclusive environment with an emphasis on internal talent development and mobility in alignment with core business objectives.
5) Manage Large-Scale Change Programs.
  • Design and implement change programs to execute on strategic objectives.
  • Setup program management office, implementing a structure to help ensure the targeted changes will be implemented and embedded in the organization.
  • Manage large, often virtual, teams – to maintain steady progress, coordinating workstreams.

What your background should look like:

Requirements: Master’s degree in Business Administration and an undergraduate degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) or business, economics, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 6 years of experience in the job offered, or experience with a top-tier management consulting firm, or in a related occupation.

Special Requirements: Requires 6 years of experience with the following:
Financial modeling.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $212,000 – $318,000(subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

What TE Connectivity Internship Program offers
TE has a robust internship program that provides our interns with an abundance of resources to feel included as part of our Team. Every summer we coordinate various educational and networking events for our interns. The TE University Relations team will be hosting virtual meetups, information sessions, tours, skill building presentations, and topping it off with National Intern Day celebration activities.

A unique employee resource group we have is the Young Professionals Employee Resource Group (ERG). This group is committed to creating a highly engaged and empowered cross-functional network of young professionals by placing high value in Professional Development, Networking Opportunities and Community Involvement to drive the success of our interns.

In addition to the ERG, we also provide our interns with complete access to our internal library of self-lead courses. These courses include academies like leadership to help the interns develop their development in becoming future leaders at our organization. To help with their professional growth, we provide access to Mentors via our NAVIGATE platform. Mentors serve as a guide to navigate the organization and provide additional support in their career endeavors at the company. Our program provides a holistic experience for interns that targets professional development and personal growth.

Our internship program typically runs May thru August and gives students the opportunity to work on projects that contribute to the success of their team and build on their classroom experience. Throughout the 10–12-week program, interns will be provided with:

  • Operations Experience

  • Executive Exposure

Timeline
TE Connectivity recruits on campus between September and March for New Grad (FT), Rotational, Internship and Co-op positions beginning in May. Once you accept an offer, the onboarding process will begin in January for interns who have committed to offers in the fall semester and upon acceptance for interns who have committed to offers in the spring semester.
