Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Preparing machine for assembly process
  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly machines
  • Load reels of strip terminals and housing onto assembly machines
  • Make fine adjustments to properly align mating parts in machine
  • Clear jams and inspect finished products
  • Prepare completed reels for transport to other areas within facility
  • Performs change-overs, sets up, adjusts & operates assembly machines
  • Troubleshoots and makes complex adjustments and repairs, replacing sensors, punches, dies, and adjusting housing feed
  • Performs quality checks per the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) documenting specified measurements per print at required intervals using height indicator, gages, and completing visual checks under a microscope
  • Completes required paperwork to report production, scrap, press downtime, problems and issues related to the machines
  • Trains other employees in the operation of assigned equipment to include performing changeovers and adjustments.
  • Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and immediate area in accordance with company housekeeping, safety, and environmental guidelines

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00 - $20.00 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
