TE Connectivity's Shipping & Receiving Teams perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. They use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting incoming and outgoing shipments. They follow shipping practices and procedures, transportation routing, schedules and requirements. The Shipping & Receiving Teams receive incoming materials and prepare materials for shipment. They process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. They also route merchandise to destinations.

The Application Tooling Division of TE Connectivity is currently seeking a skilled Shipping / Receiving / Stores Attendant to join our Warehouse Operations team.

Our Shipping/Receiving & Stores Attendants directly support our tooling business by locating product in inventory, preparing orders for assembly and preparing orders for shipment in order to meet the expectations of our external and internal customers of the Applicator, Machine and Hand Tool Value Streams.

Responsibilities:

- Receive, store, handle, and distribute material.
- Package and process outbound product and miscellaneous material shipments.
- Operate and maintain receiving, storeroom, and packaging equipment.
- Verify kind, count, and condition on all incoming shipments (first stage inspection).
- Identify and label all materials and route them to the proper storage or delivery points.
- Prepare and package product for shipment and route via approved carrier as directed.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Promote teamwork by helping others and being a good teammate.
- Understand and practice safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
- Exhibit understanding, flexibility, and willingness to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
- Accurately issue raw materials and component parts required for factory machine production and assembly operations.
- Participate in daily cycle counting efforts and periodic physical inventories.
- Operate carrier-supplied systems used to tender outbound merchandise.
- Prepare export documentation as required to meet US export and specific destination country requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment in a shipping/stores position.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Experience in RF scanners.
- Acceptance of change, flexibility, and an absolute teamwork attitude a must.
