Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Facilities Team conduct facilities and property administration, office planning, corporate leasing and/or real estate coordination. They work closely and provide advice and counsel to company and/or vendor representatives coordinating major facility constructions or modifications or leasing and real estate activities.

- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on Air Compressors: Including oil changes, filter replacements, and system cleaning to maintain optimal functionality and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in air compressor systems to swiftly identify issues and facilitate timely repairs, minimizing downtime.
- Repair and replace worn or damaged parts such as pistons, valves, bearings, and seals, ensuring efficient operation and reliability.
- Conduct inspections to proactively identify potential problems and uphold system safety standards, prioritizing preventive measures.
- Oversee and support the installation of new air compressor systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications for seamless integration and performance.
- Execute PM activities on building systems in plants and office structures, ensuring their smooth operation and longevity.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on building and infrastructure equipment to maintain operational efficiency and safety.
- Provide vendor/contractor support to facilitate maintenance tasks and project execution, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Participate in call-out list rotation to promptly respond to after-hours emergencies, ensuring swift resolution of critical issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines when working on machinery or in facilities, including lockout/tagout procedures and adhering to height safety protocols.
- Maintain general housekeeping of work areas, storage spaces, and company vehicles, promoting a safe and organized work environment.
- Regularly participate in company safety and continuous improvement programs to enhance operational effectiveness and safety culture.
- Undertake other maintenance and/or facilities projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organizational goals.

What your background should look like:

  • 3-5 Years Experience working on Air Compressors
  • Willingness to continue/expand their knowledge base.
  • Valid clean state drivers license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate Building Management Systems, Apps on Cell Phones and Tablets
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organization and scheduling ability.
  • Should have good computer skills / working with e-mail / spreadsheets / time keeping.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $47,680 – $71,520(subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
