About the role:
As a Maintenance Program Specialist you will be accountable for developing and maintaining the annual maintenance program for our Customer Delivery business unit. The annual maintenance program considers preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance, and capital renewals and replacements, to ensure we deliver maintenance which improves equipment reliability and availability, enables effective resource utilisation, ensures adherence to safe drinking water requirements, and delivers a quality customer experience. Key accountabilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Undertaking complex maintenance program planning of preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal resource utilisation, maximum asset availability and a positive customer experience.
  • Liaising with capital renewals and replacement project teams to ensure the annual maintenance program compliments the delivery of asset renewals and replacement activities.
  • Development of an annual maintenance works plan based on optimum labour availability and provide quarterly and monthly work packages for delivery.
  • Providing technical advice to planning and field teams on the execution of complex tasks, including shutdown and turnaround processes, to ensure efficient, effective and safe work.
  • Liaising with Mechanical and Electrical, Field Services and Sewage Treatment Plants teams to ensure the annual maintenance program delivers the required outcomes.
  • Providing advice and recommendations to the Asset Lifecycle Reliability team on planned maintenance strategy optimisation.

  • Significant experience in maintenance program management across a wide geographical region and experience in maintenance management and planning methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate to achieve quality outcomes.
  • Ability to analyse, conceptualise and develop solutions for future maintenance programs and the ability priorities as required in support of changing business needs.
  • Experience in utilising computerised maintenance management systems (e.g. Maximo, SAP PM, Ellipse, Oracle) and business intelligence tools to manage and develop maintenance program forecasts.
