Job Title: Scientific Product Data Administrator

Location: Waltham, MA

About the role:

The Abcam Product Data Integration Team are looking for a Scientific Product Data Administrator to support integration of new product data into the catalogue, to maintain data and ensure consistent, comprehensive and accurate information for customers and internal stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Data input associated with new product addition.
  • Produce associated kit protocol booklets in line with guidelines and input from wider teams.
  • Carry out data updates in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
  • Carry out data quality checks. This includes screening potential new product data images.
  • Ensure that Abcam’s high quality standards are maintained.

About you:

You will be educated to at least degree level (or equivalent) in a biological science with strong knowledge of MS office applications. You will have experience working with large datasets and have an understanding of common antibody-based applications to screen product data quality, knowledge of databases such as Uniprot, NCBI and PubMed would be useful but not essential as full training will be given.

You will have excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills to resolve internal & external product data queries in a timely manner. You will have the ability to prioritise and process large amounts of data in a logical and efficient manner, ensuring our customers receive accurate, up-to-date product information quickly.
