Laing O’Rourke project teams across the country have spent this week acknowledging NAIDOC Week and celebrating the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year’s theme, ‘Because of Her, We Can” honours the essential role women have played – and continue to play – as active and significant role models at the community, local, state and national levels.
We were extremely lucky to be joined by Daniel Phillips – Managing Director of New Start – and Yidaki Yulugi, who performed a number of traditional songs and dances for our staff earlier this week in our North Sydney office. Check out the video for yourself:
