Reporting to the Senior Director Group Planning & Reporting, this valued team member will have a dual role, responsible for achieving Aristocrat’s objectives for the Group by providing financial, analytical and decision support for the Executive Leadership specifically the CFO, CEO and the Board, as well as partnering with Global Function leaders to support financial decision-making through delivery of high-quality reporting, forecasting and month-end processes.

This role will collaborate with members of the Global Functions team and the wider global Finance teams and as such, we are looking for a candidate that can effectively communicate with stakeholders to gain key insights that are fundamental in completing quarterly forecasts, annual budget and month-end processes.

What You'll Do

Working with the Group Planning & Reporting team:

  • Run and maintain existing monthly, quarterly reporting packages to ensure consistent operating rhythm.

  • Collate and analyse key strategic metrics for the newly formed Anaxi business, driving efficiencies in current models and processes.

  • Preparation and maintenance of PowerPoint presentation decks for quarterly Forecasts, Annual Budget and 5-year Strategic Plan.

  • Support in the consolidation of Group monthly management reports, analyse and provide appropriate commentary.

  • Develop compelling dashboards and data visualisations to deliver enhanced information and insights for the lines of business.

  • Collaborate with a number of global finance leads to identify reporting gaps and create solutions.

  • Implement reporting best practices and embed automation into existing reports.

  • Maintain Group Planning & Reporting Sharepoint site.

  • Assists with relevant audit and Group Finance initiatives as required.

  • Other ad hoc projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CA/CPA preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance roles, covering FP&A and business partnering.
  • Advanced skills in: TM1, Excel - including pivot tables, charts, graphs, PowerPoint
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with complex financial data to produce analysis including trend, forecast and KPI analysis generating insights to improve efficiency, quality and performance.
  • Confidence to drive challenging conversations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet changing demands.
  • Ability to see the big picture with the ability to dive into the detail when required.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced global environment across multiple time zones.
  • Continuous improvement mindset including the identification of automation opportunities.
  • Possess a high level of personal and professional accountability and be able to enlist the cooperation of peer groups to meet common business goals and objectives.
  • Commitment to personal growth, development and a team player.
  • Data visualisation tool experience highly desirable (e.g. PowerBI, IBM Planning Analytics, Tableau)
