"I reluctantly turned down an offer of employment at Babcock after finding out soon after that I was pregnant. Upon advising the recruiter of my decision I was beyond grateful to learn that Babcock has a very generous Parental Leave policy of 18 weeks paid gender neutral leave with no waiting period. My decision was made at that point - I was able to accept the role I really wanted and start a family, the perfect balance. Additionally, the agile working arrangements at Babcock meant I had the flexibility to work from home and attend all of my medical appointments with ease and with the full support of my manager. I look forward to utilising Keeping In Touch Days over the next 12 months and working towards achieving my career goals with Babcock".
