Your Team
The Analyst, Expenses Reporting is part of the Group Financial Control & Payroll Services team within CFS Finance and Fund Services team (F&FS).
This role plays a central role in the Group Financial Control & Payroll Services team and also across finance through contributing to a strong financial control environment. The incumbent is expected to actively assist in managing key stakeholders (e.g. Management and Decision Support team), with responsibilities including ensuring the integrity of the month end result especially for the business unit(s) you are assigned, reporting, insightful and actionable analysis, and assurance related activities.
The Analyst, Expenses Reporting reports to the Senior Manager – Expenses Reporting and Remediation.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the month-end process for the Expenses Reporting and Remediation Team.
- Analytical review of the expense ahead of the GL closing to verify results are in line with expectations;
- Preparation of monthly Business Unit expense snapshots;
- Provide support to other teams within Finance and the business to gain insights into the expenses and financial position;
- Support on the annual audit process and liaise with external auditor;
- Maintain a sound financial control environment including balance sheet reconciliation; control testing, etc.;
- Focus on continuous improvement opportunities to automate and simplify expense reporting process;
Your Capability and Experience
- Experience in expenses management and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrable achievements in managing complex situations where the ability to positively influence others to achieve optimal outcomes is paramount to achieving success.
- Self-motivated individual who displays a “can-do” pro-active style and desire to provide excellent service to customers.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related subjects.
