As our Visual Design Lead, you’ll manage a high-performing team of designers who apply design thinking methodology to create facilitated client experiences. You will be leading a geographically dispersed team across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Auckland while working closely with a broader leadership team to constantly innovate in the delivery of facilitated experiences. This role is ideal for someone looking for a blend of people leadership, work-flow management and hands-on creative delivery.

  • Leading, motivating and developing design talent with empathy with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Take a collaborative approach to work, developing ideas on how to approach client challenges including industry trends and user experience, while honing your skills by taking ownership of new challenges and have a genuine interest in solving complex business problems
  • Communicate complex concepts simply and effectively using sketches, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, frameworks, interactive prototypes

What we’re looking for

  • Experience leading, managing and motivating design teams
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience using design thinking and working in agile teams
  • Experience using collaboration software including Mural, Miro etc
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or other design technologies.
  • Deep interest in new and emerging technologies
  • Facilitation experience
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Ability to live-scribe/sketchnote
