Minimum $320K plus superannuation

Your Opportunity
Following a recent strategy and operating model review, our focus is on building the structure, skills and capabilities required for the next chapter of the IGO story. Our Commercial and Growth team are seeking applications for a Head of Growth. This newly created role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and advancing growth opportunities that enhance IGO’s strategic position.
Reporting to the Chief Growth and Commercial Officer your key accountabilities include:
- Developing and executing a targeted growth strategy aligned with IGO’s long-term vision and commodity focus;
- Lead the screening and origination of growth opportunities, leveraging deep industry networks and data-driven insights;
- Track emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and policy shifts that could impact strategic investment decisions; and
- Lead internal and external cross-functional teams to identify, value and execute growth options that drive long term value for IGO.
About Your Experience
Along with a proven track record of identifying, structuring and executing strategic transactions, you must have a strong understanding of the mining environment and bring the following skills:
- Significant experience in mining investment, corporate development, private equity, or M&A, preferably in critical battery metals;
- Strong understanding of mine lifecycle economics, exploration upside, resource modelling, and project development risks;
- Exceptional commercial acumen, with the ability to structure creative investment approaches to secure control;
- High-level negotiation skills with experience leading engagements with asset owners, governments, and strategic investors;
- Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and drive decisions in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment;
- Strong industry networks across miners, private equity, investment banks, and sovereign wealth funds; and
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
