The role:

Knight Frank Australia are recruiting for a Retail Manager with experience in Shopping Centre Management to oversee a smaller portfolio of centres in North and South Brisbane for a fixed term contract until June 2025. You will be responsible for establishing and maintain strong, positive relationships with tenant retailers and ensuring the trading environment is well presented, ensuring a safe and inviting destination for customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the client in administering the terms of all leases.
  • Assist the client to maintain an up-to-date tenancy schedule and calendar of significant events.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual income Budgets.
  • Regular Inspection of the Centre/s to ensure the highest level of housekeeping together with the co-ordination of any works (as required).
  • Establishing and maintaining liaison with all tenants and occupiers of the Centre to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Provide recommendations to the Facilities Manager for maintenance works and Capital Expenditure.
  • Attend regular client management meetings and conference calls.
  • Provide a weekly summary report on Tenant Performance and Feedback and Property Presentation.

Who are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 2 years previous experience in both shopping centre and commercial property management will be beneficial for this position
  • Relevant degree, i.e. Bachelor of Business (Property) preferred.
  • Certificate of Registration (Mandatory).
  • Current Drivers Licence (Mandatory).
  • Knowledge of Centre operations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Customer centric approach.
