Lavazza has always put people at the centre of its world: from coffee producers to employees, to consumers. This is why we strive to promote and implement our principles every day, involving all the Group’s stakeholders. To do this, teamwork is key, because sustainability is a shared responsibility.

These principles are the spirit which has allowed us to expand the company over the years: our way of doing business is an example of sustainability in the fullest sense of the word. It is a quality built up and shared with all the people we have met, starting with our employees and the places in which we work.

For over ten years we have been working directly with, and contributing to, sustainability projects in support of local communities in Central and South America, Africa and Asia, helping small coffee producers with programmes to improve the local economy, community life (school, working conditions) and environmental protection.
