About the role
Lifeblood is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure precise and timely calculation of salaries, wages, and entitlements. This role involves meticulous record-keeping, distribution of payroll reports, and adherence to statutory obligations.
You will partner and support your client group on employment obligations to ensure accurate payroll outputs while providing expert guidance on payroll legislation and processes.

- Extensive payroll expertise (five+ years at an advanced level) in a large organization with multiple agreements – over 3000 employees
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and pro-active team player who enjoys a challenge and accepts responsibility and accountability.
- Competent in all functions of CHRIS21 payroll system including reporting.
- Detailed knowledge of end to end payroll processing.
- Expertise with a Time & Attendance system (preferably Time Target)
- Have a strong working knowledge on the calculations and treatment of terminations, redundancies or other special events.
- High level of skill in numeracy, problem solving and attention to detail with ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and meet strict deadlines
- Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation in payroll, taxation and superannuation and other relevant areas
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
