About the team

Corporate Services teams at Metro are responsible for providing essential support services that enable the business to function efficiently and effectively. From Safety and People, Marketing and Communication, to Finance and Legal, and IT. Our Corporate Services teams work collaboratively to ensure that the business operates smoothly and as one team.

We are seeking an experienced Labour Analyst to join the Financial and Commercial team and help drive best practice in the labour recovery process and work closely with a Senior Commercial Analyst to identify and deliver tailored, best practice labour reporting.

Please note this role is a secondment opportunity for 12 months.

About the role

  • Support the labour recovery cost and process
  • Manage labour rate models in accordance with contractual requirements and build appropriate models to articulate the changes
  • Coordinate any audit responses relating to current State Projects
  • Support the team to identify and deliver labour reporting and analysis requirements
  • Engage with internal stakeholder to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement including development of reports, dashboards and automation
  • Develop reports, dashboards and automation to support all reporting and analysis to streamline processes

About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance , Accounting, Business or Program Management
  • CA/CPA/IIBA (or equivalent) status or currently in the process of getting qualification
  • 2 years’ experience within an analyst role
  • Communicates with influence to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven analytical experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills including building and developing financial models
  • Experience in implementing financial & business process changes
  • Have the ability to interpret complex commercial and contractual arrangements
