The Opportunity:

The Analyst as part of the Asset Transfers team, will manage assigned transitions cases from start to finish. Including the liaison with external parties to coordinate the transfer, validation of paperwork, asset valuation and import of relevant cost base details.

As part of their role Team members will liaise directly with other Netwealth departments, Fund Managers, Registries, and advisers over the life cycle of a transitions case. Coordination with third parties is important to ensure the best possible outcome for clients.

  • Transfers require the team members to work closely with various third parties who each have their own processes some of which can be very bespoke.
  • Vetting of transfer forms requires excellent attention to detail and a good understanding of the limited Power of attorney capability.
  • Good communication skills (verbal & written) required to ensure advisers understand the detail of what is required and why we need it.

You have:

  • Solid understanding of ASX securities (including warrants, LICs, ETFs), bonds, managed funds and other unlisted assets.
  • Sufficient knowledge of Capital Gains tax to be able to review the various forms of Cost Base information provided with transfers and determine what additional information is required.
  • WRAP platform experience (highly regarded).
  • Experience within the finance industry is desirable.
